The assessment service is an adult ADHD assessment delivered by telehealth over two appointments: a 50-minute assessment and a 30-minute treatment-planning appointment, with a written report after the first. The continuing-care service is a single telehealth appointment for adults with an existing ADHD diagnosis documented by a psychiatrist or paediatrician. Appointments are conducted by specialist GPs. The service is not an emergency service. In an emergency call 000.
You must be 18 or older. Appointments are online. Prescribing follows the framework of the state in which the assessing GP is registered. Identity is verified with a Medicare card and photo ID before the first appointment.
Fees are as published on the Fees page and are paid in full at booking through Stripe by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Afterpay. The assessment fee covers both appointments, the written report, and the first prescription. It does not cover pathology, ECG or pharmacy costs, or ongoing care after the treatment-planning appointment. Review appointments are billed separately, as published on the Fees page.
Appointments can be rescheduled with more than three business days' notice. Fees are not refundable except as required by the Australian Consumer Law. The fee is for the assessment and does not depend on its outcome.
Appointments are by video. You are responsible for a private space, a device with a camera and a stable connection. If a connection fails, the appointment is completed by phone where clinically appropriate or rescheduled without charge.
Decisions about diagnosis, medication and dose rest with the assessing GP and are made under the framework for specialist GP prescribing of stimulants that applies to the consultation, including a QScript check at every consultation. Booking does not guarantee a prescription. Prescriptions are dispensed by a pharmacy of your choice at your cost.
