What stands behind you

The work

Two appointments per patient, on a structured system.

Assessment: 50 minutes by video. Structured clinical interview, rating scales and history already in front of you
Treatment plan: 30 minutes by video, when the report and any checks are in. Diagnosis, options, prescription, monitoring plan
Continuing care: 50 minutes by video for patients with an existing diagnosis on a psychiatrist or paediatrician letter
Reviews: After the first month, then at framework intervals, in your hours
Tools: Practice management, telehealth and electronic prescribing, provided and set up for you

What GPs ask

Six questions, six straight answers.

Do I need extra training?: The protocol is written. The RACGP ADHD modules are available and worth doing. You decide when you are ready
Will I be pressured to diagnose?: No. The patient paid for an assessment. The site says booking does not guarantee a prescription and the fee does not depend on the outcome
Is this a script service?: No. Two video appointments, QScript every consult, no repeat without review, a letter to the usual GP
What if a session is not full?: You are paid for it. $1,677.90, filled or not
Interstate patients?: Queensland at launch, under the Queensland framework. Other states as their rules allow
What is deducted?: Nothing. No service fee, no software fee, no admin fee. The figure is the figure

Terms

The terms, in full.

Pay: 70% of the fee: $349.56 per assessment, $209.74 per treatment plan, $419.48 an hour
Guarantee: Every rostered session is paid in full, filled or not, including no-shows
Roster: Sessions are rostered a month ahead, in the windows you give us
Release: You can release a session with 14 days' notice. Inside that window a session stands
Timing: Paid every Friday for the week just worked
Hours: You set them. Minimum one four-hour session a week, and a typical start is one session a week. Evenings and weekends available, never required
Contract: Contractor on your own ABN. Non-exclusive. No lock-in. Two weeks' notice either way
Registration: Specialist general practice registration with AHPRA; FRACGP or FACRRM
Payroll tax: Structured under the Queensland exemption for medical practice payments to contracted GPs

Roster

First roster: three GPs.

Onboarding is done one GP at a time, with the clinic's practice manager, so the first roster is three. Applications after that go into the next intake.
